Description of Activity: The Branch Library for Humanities is accessible for all LEU students, lecturers and staff members. Open and closed-access collections include: textbooks of history, textbooks of Lithuanian language and literature, methodical literature, fiction, newspapers and magazines. The collection size amounts to 110 407 copies of documents (2012-01-01).

The Branch Library for Humanities is divided into areas:

Area of catalogues – for searching printings in electronic and card catalogues, and filling-up order forms.

Area of lending – for readers' registration and books' delivery (see "Rules and Regulations of Using the Book-stock and Service of LEU Library").

Area for an academic work – here readers may choose books freely of the reading room collection, to read them on the spot or bring to the silence zone of the academic work. The silence zone is meant for a quite work. Readers who want to work in' groups may order Area of group studies (up to 14 persons). Area of periodicals is meant for reading newspapers and magazines.

There are 8 computers for searching information in databases (see "Rules of Using Computers and Audeo-Video equipment of LEU Library").

Services charged: copying, scanning and printing of documents.

Users may connect their laptops to the library computer network.

Area of exhibitions presents current book exhibitions made by the Library.
